Job Summary:
Provides a broad range of administrative assistance to the Operations Department. Processes documents and information, assists in assembling and reporting data as well as other support related duties.
We are looking for an individual with superior organization skills, the ability to deal with all levels of management in the company to join our dynamic, fast-paced, and fast-growing team. The successful candidate will handle a variety of responsibilities concurrently, manage conflicting demands and work independently.
Main Accountabilities:
- Correspond with agencies and other business partners via phone and email to collect and analyze data and help drive tasks to resolution.
- Verify documents for accuracy and completion to provide sound recommendations and directive to operations professionals in support of positive outcomes.
- Filing, distributing mail and faxes, scanning, copying, and other duties as assigned.
- Complete documents and forms
- Monitor Operations Support Email
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as an administrative assistant or comparable position.
- 1+ years of experience in the insurance industry (Workers Compensation, G/L, Personal Liability Insurance preferred).
- Highly organized, precise, proactive and capable of multitasking.
- Understands the importance of deadlines and discretion in dealing with issues of a sensitive nature.
- Able to balance competing priorities.
- Capable of developing and maintaining effective working relationships with a broad constituency.
- Possesses sound judgment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
