Job Summary

The Manager, Marketing and Agency Relations is responsible for the support of initiatives to increase the sales of new business and to improve customer loyalty.  Support will include initiatives to onboard new agencies, facilitate the new business process, provide appropriate marketing and operational materials, and to educate our partners on our various products and services. 

The  Manager, Marketing and Agency Relations will use their knowledge of our Business and Service processes, the P&C  marketplace, and our product features to provide assistance and education to Broker-Dealers to create an ease of doing business with Clear Spring Property and Casualty Group (CSP&CG). 

This individual will work closely with the Chief Innovation and Product Officer, CSP&C Underwriting, and Operations to ensure that our intermediary customers’ needs are met.

Main Accountabilities

  • On-boarding new broker-dealers
  • Provide support of existing broker-dealers
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with existing and prospective broker-dealer operational contacts, internal Group 1001 constituencies, and vendors
  • Handle requests from the Underwriting team and their broker-dealer counterparts
  • Manage escalations and follow-up activity with broker dealer operational contacts, brokers and agents.
  • Visit broker-dealers on a regular basis.
  • Maintain strong and current knowledge of the Property and Casualty market.
  • Partners with product and distribution on new strategic initiatives, such as new products and services in support of the company strategy.
  • Partners with Distribution on new initiatives to expand distribution support and create an ease of doing business.
  • Manages relationships relative to outsourced functions both internally and externally.
  • Extensive Travel required. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Strong commitment to customer service and quality required. 
  • Candidate must be detail orientated with strong organization, presentation and prioritization skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Property and Casualty market (W/C, GL, etc)
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Positive, can-do attitude and ability to see issues from multiple perspectives
  • Background in Operations/Financial Services experience preferred
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills required
  • BA/BS degree or 3-5 years of equivalent experience required
