Description

We develop a proactive approach, based on statistical analyses and predictive modeling, to forecast risks and provide recommendations to mitigate these uncertainties for the Supply chain. 

Activities:

  • Interviewing business SMEs and stakeholders;
  • Interviewing data/platform SMEs;
  • Review of the existing documentation and roadmaps;
  • Hands-on assessment of existing systems (APIs, UIs, etc);
  • Hands-on assessment of data schemas and samples;
  • Data feasibility analysis for selected use cases;
  • Communicate with business stakeholders to clarify their requirements and present the teamwork results;
  • Final documentation writing;
Deliverables:
  • Documented functional assessment and recommended strategy for Data services, Visualization/reporting services, and ML solution library:
    • Current state and maturity level
    • Business goals and objectives
    • Functional gap analysis
    • Prioritized list of uses cases
  • Documented technical assessment and recommended strategy for Data services, Visualization/reporting services, and MLOps:
    • Current state and maturity level
    • Target architecture
    • Technical gap analysis
    • Implementation roadmap
  • Community of practice enablement Roadmap and Team Structure

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of software development experience;
  • 5+ years of ML / DS / AI systems experience;
  • Good knowledge of the probability theory and statistics;
  • Experience with time series analysis using traditional (e.g. ARIMA) and deep learning (e.g. LSTM) methods;
  • Experience with basic DS/ML libs and tools (python, scikit, NumPy, pandas, seaborn, Jupiter, etc);
  • Experience with Deep Learning: a working knowledge of various techniques and best practices for designing deep nets;
  • Solid understanding of classical algorithms, data structures, and coding standards;
  • Understanding of modern DevOps/MLOps practices, experience with cloud providers (e.g. AWS, GCP, or Azure);
  • Ability to analyze complex requirements, formulate pragmatic approaches, identify risks, propose solutions and present your ideas in a winning way;
  • Ph.D. in Mathematics will be a plus;
