GreenPoint Ag, headquartered in Decatur, AL is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager.  This position reports to the Director of EHS and the successful candidate must work out of the Decatur office.  

Summary/Objective
The objective of the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager is to assist GreenPoint
achieve its Safety Vision of becoming the safest agronomy provider in the industry. The role is an integral to the EHS Mission to design, implement, and continuously improve a safety program that creates a climate and culture at GreenPoint in which safety is synonymous with operational excellence. The position reports to the Director of Safety while directly supporting GreenPoint operations through continuous liaison with the Vice President of the business unit.
Essential Functions
Be a positive influence on the safety climate and culture at GreenPoint by being a contributing thought leader in the EHS team and broader Senior Leadership Team.

Work by, with, and through GreenPoint’s management structure to continuously improve safety
systems that create a climate and culture in which safety is synonymous with operational excellence.
Serve as the senior EHS representative to the GreenPoint business unit Leadership Team and primary EHS advisor to the GreenPoint Vice President of the business unit.
Scope the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the GreenPoint EHS Program to Wholesale operations and locations adhering to the fundamentals of easy – simple – practical – decentralized.
Work in synchronicity with other EHS Managers to ensure continuity of the EHS Program across GreenPoint and, as needed, support other business unit EHS requirements.
Maintain the Asmark safety system, Responsible Ag audits, administrative reporting requirements, and additional EHS programs, policies, and procedures that will be developed. As needed, support other business unit EHS requirements in these same areas.
Design, implement, and continuously improve workplace EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
Proactively seek EHS government regulations, guidance, and industry best practices that are applicable to GreenPoint operations; Continuously evaluate GreenPoint’s EHS programs, policies, and procedures within the context of government regulation, guidance, and industry best practices; and then bring solutions to the Wholesale or Retail Leadership Teams.
Support the Management Team conducting all required EHS training and certification, accident investigations, root cause analysis and, as needed, the other business unit EHS Teams
