GreenPoint Ag is a leading agricultural retail and services company serving farmers across the Mid-South and Southeastern United States. Owned by a network of farmer cooperatives, we are built on trust, local relationships, and agronomic expertise.
We are seeking a CEO to lead our next phase of profitable growth, operational excellence, and cooperative alignment.

The Opportunity 
This is a unique opportunity to lead a farmer-owned, multi-location enterprise at scale. The CEO will partner with the Board and member cooperative owners to deliver strong financial performance while strengthening the relationships that define the cooperative system.

Key Responsibilities 
  • Own enterprise performance—deliver sustainable profitability and returns.
  • Partner with the Board and member cooperatives with transparency, trust, and long-term value creation.
  • Drive operational excellence across locations (safety, consistency, execution, accountability).
  • Set and execute strategy to strengthen competitiveness amid industry change.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, including talent development and succession.
  • Ensure disciplined financial management (working capital, capital allocation, risk management).
  • Champion organizational culture and values —foster a positive workplace environment that aligns with cooperative principles and encourages engagement.
  • Lead innovation and digital transformation —identify and implement technology solutions to improve operations and customer experience.
  • Represent GreenPoint Ag externally —serve as the public face of the organization, building relationships with industry partners, government officials, and the broader community.
  • Monitor and anticipate industry trends —stay informed on market developments, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to proactively adjust strategies.

Candidate Profile 
Industry & Operational Experience (Required) 
  • 15+ years of related agricultural experience (ag retail, agronomy services, input distribution, or closely adjacent sectors), including 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
  • Proven success leading a distributed, multi-location operation with significant P&L accountability.
  • Deep understanding of farmer economics, seasonal cycles, and input markets; credibility with field operators.
  • Experience navigating complex stakeholders (board, owners, or cooperative systems) strongly preferred.
Education 
  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, agribusiness, business, finance, or a related field required.  Master’s degree preferred.

  • Establish disciplined, consistent execution across the organization
