Reports to: Trim Manager

The ideal Trim Tech l is a patient individual that is good with their hands and mentally sharp. This job does require the mental fortitude to sit or stand in one place all day. While wearing gloves, the trimmer must process the buds as quickly as they can while being careful to gently handle the buds without applying too much pressure or damaging them. The trimmer is primarily responsible for the efficiency and quality of the plant in preparation for sale.
Requirements:
- Able to trim one pound minimum on a daily basis, while meeting company standards
- Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the staging area while performing trimming
- Efficiently trim and de-fan plants
- Responsible for maintaining a quality product
- Passion for the industry and resilience
- Punctuality
- Communicate known issues to the management team to ensure a smooth flow of operations within the company
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Capable of learning/performing all basic necessary tasks asked of
- Packaging, weighing, labeling, sealing, and managing packaged material
- Accountability and initiative
- Operating with integrity and honesty
- Team-oriented and self-motivated
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs. and willingness to assist in any additional side task
- Must have reliable transportation

Physical and Mental Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and position oneself, communicate, operate, prepare, and place, and position objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 75 lb. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close observation and the ability to adjust focus. The mental and physical requirements described here represent those that must be met by an individual, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform the essential functions of this position successfully.
Working Environment:
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment can range from low to high. Temperatures in the work environment range from cold and dry to warm and humid, respective to the product processes and plant lifecycle. The work environment requires the use of PPE at all phases, and strict cleaning and cross-contamination protocols. The product and plants are agriculture goods that have the ability to produce odors that may linger, can penetrate clothing, and heighten senses.
