POSITION IMPACT

As one of the most significant roles in our company, the DC Operations Manager will lead and manage all aspects of the supply chain including the distribution center facility, its employees, inventory, customer fulfillment and logistical sales support working through a management team. FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

We seek an inspirational leader to manage the employees of the entire operation.  In this role, the DC Operations Manager will be responsible for the operation and its employees in the Customer Service and Warehouse departments as well as its overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. This leader will conduct supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Other functions include:

  • In conjunction with the General Manager, assume P&L responsibility

Responsibility for customer satisfaction and problem resolution

  • Set goal standards and improve the operation performance measurements in quality, productivity, and inventory accuracy
  • Manage personnel and administer human resource policy and procedure
  • Develop/ train management team, instilling an employee involvement management model
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Manage all capital assets to ensure safe operation, quality condition, and optimum performance

QUALIFICATIONS

 

The successful  DC Operations Manager candidate will have at least 5 years related experience in supply chain management.  We seek a leader who can address through their career experiences the impact made on an organization because of their knowledge and management of a facility and its staff.  We are pursuing a professional that delivers results while maintaining an extraordinary focus on serving our customers.  Finally, the candidate should exhibit a strong work ethic, sound intellect, and impeccable moral character.

 EDUCATION

 Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university, required
