Position at Altrom

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative with automotive experience to assist customers seeking information on current orders and parts provided by Altrom America.  To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage all aspects of Customer Service including inbound and outbound customer phone inquiries including processing orders and credits, price & availability, tracking and proof of delivery, processing labor claims and special orders
  • Work with and communicate with Altrom suppliers in resolving customer concerns
  • Provide timely and accurate information, service and resolution
  • Ability to operate in a team environment cross functionally where employees constantly provide support to each other
  • A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • A high level of ownership, accountability and initiative
  • Flexible and adaptive to change
  • Must be able to retrieve information from supplier catalogs and websites
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Notify manager of serious customer concerns, concerns that are unresolved within a reasonable amount of time
  • Additional duties as assigned

 

Experience, Education, and Abilities:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Automotive or Automotive Aftermarket background is helpful
  • Must be willing to work until 7:00 PM and possibly weekends
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to coordinate with other departments as necessary
  • Demonstrated success in problem solving
  • Strong phone skills, able to maintain continuous communication to all parties
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn and apply new information quickly while interpreting and offering appropriate solutions to customers
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously with a high level of accuracy
