As a Front End Developer Intern at GPC, you’ll have the opportunity to use Design Thinking Methodology and Front End Development Skills to implement solutions for complex technical issues while learning about a global distribution organization.

A day in the life:

  • Work closely with designers to take wireframes from conception to implementation and design and improve user interfaces
  • Work with the IBM Design System to implement UIs Work in JavaScript, Node.js or frameworks such as React, Vue or Angular
  • Demo the design/work to stakeholders

What you’ll need:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, seeking degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical or business field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

And if you have this, even better:

  • Front End Development/UI Development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON and API usage)
  • Experience with React/Angular/Vue, TypeScript, Webpack, NodeJS
  • Understanding of Design Thinking Methodology
  • Knowledge of Agile Development process
