Organizational Design Specialist

As part of the global GPC Talent Management team, the Organizational Design Specialist will work cross-functionally and collaboratively to support the initiatives that enhance the employee experience for our 52,000 global Genuine Parts Company associates by creating an inclusive culture where we CONNECT, ENGAGE and GROW our talent resulting in our ability to attract, develop, and retain the best people.

 

  • Assist in efforts to implement and improve global organizational design and career development process and programs including, but not limited to: Job Analysis, Talent Management, Performance Management, Organizational Effectiveness, Career Frameworks and Career Pathing.
  • Presents ideas and best practices to enhance programs, processes, and procedures to drive global alignment.
  • Support in the planning and execution of job analysis, job design and career framework initiatives. Identify areas of opportunity and drive change.
  • Identify opportunities to align organizational design to career paths and learning opportunities.
  • Conduct research on best practices and advances in organizational design and talent management, provide recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Partner with and influence global stakeholders going through the Job Design and Job Classification process.
  • Comfortable translating reports into actionable insights.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Talent Management, Organizational Development, or related field. Master’s preferred
  • 2-3 years related work experience, preferably in Human Resources, Talent Management, or Organizational Development
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills
  • Demonstrated learning agility – ability to pick up new things quickly / desire to learn
  • High degree of self-motivation and initiative in managing multiple projects, contributing towards group goals, and driving for results.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems in a rapidly changing and ambiguous environment
