Job Description:

The Senior Mobility Analyst is responsible for configuring, deploying, and managing the mobile devices used in NAPA Auto Parts Distribution Centers. This individual will analyze requirements from architects, developers, and security engineers, and will use those requirements to configure, deploy, and support ADC (Automatic Data Capture) mobile devices and tablets used by warehouse workers and supervisors. The individual will work closely with key departmental, management and product stakeholders across the organization. Therefore, the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with all levels of management and staff within the organization is important in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the successful configuration and deployment of Zebra and/or Honeywell Android mobile devices across all NAPA DCs
  • Ensure the successful configuration and deployment of rugged Android tablets across all NAPA DCs
  • Analyze requirements to determine the appropriate configuration needed for a given environment
  • Communicate project status and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management
  • Troubleshoot device issues, including those with internal or third-party apps, and work with the development team to resolve them
  • Serve as escalation point for support tickets, including issues that may arise after-hours and have operational impact
  • Participate in project team meetings and walk-throughs
  • Cultivate and disseminate knowledge to other team members

Qualifications:

  • Associate, BS or BA degree in a related field, or demonstrated relevant work experience
  • Expert knowledge of Mobile Device Management applications
  • Experience generating enrollment profiles, configuration profiles, and payload
  • Multi-year experience managing thousands of devices across many sites with a modern MDM platform, such as Wavelink Avalanche, SOTI MobiControl, or VMware Workspace ONE (Airwatch).
  • Strong knowledge of WiFi networking topics
  • Top-notch troubleshooting ability
  • Basic understanding of Android Debug Bridge
  • Basic understanding of Android Enterprise, including ZTE
  • Basic understanding of Samsung KME and the Knox Platform
  • Detailed understanding of MDM add-ons such as launchers and secure browsers
  • Detailed understanding of Zebra MX Management System
  • Detailed understanding of Zebra StageNow
  • Detailed understanding of product deployments with a major MDM solution
  • Detailed understanding of remotely upgrading the Android OS
5 years working experience and proficiency with mobile devices in a large enterprise
