  • Love data, analytics and working in a very fast paced environment
  • Know how to set pricing and explain the “meaning/why” to your internal customer
  • Anticipate market changes in pricing and coming up with solutions 

A Day in the life:

  • Provides regular and ad hoc pricing analysis and reporting for management, through BI tools and pricing software.
  • Takes initiative in identifying and resolving issues around pricing and margin.
  • Presents pricing analysis and recommendations to discount management team.
  • Helps drive efficiencies in discount review process.
  • Provides details including market comparisons, downstream impact of proposals, and review of steps needed to implement change.

What you’ll need:  

  • Minimum 4-year college degree 
  • 2 or more years experience providing financial / pricing analysis with actionable recommendations based on elasticities, willingness to pay, KPI’s etc.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and qualitative analysis skills
  • Minimum 1 year experience using BI interface like Tableau or, preferably, Qlik.
  • Adept at learning new computer applications
  • Strong collaboration, follow up skills, ease with tight deadlines, as well as the ability to manage several projects at the same time
  • Solid written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent Excel skills required

 And if you have this, even better:

  • Workflow experience using Alteryx a huge plus
  • Experience using PROS or other pricing software
  • Possess leadership qualities and excellent team player
