Mobile OEM Customer Support Manager

Location: Birmingham, AL or Chicago, IL

The Mobile OEM Customer Support Manager will coordinate and manage customer activity from RFQs, PPAP/Customer Compliance, orders, expedites and other purchasing and account management. Also, managing interface with branches where needed.


  • Coordinate and manage all marketing programs for Mobile platforms
  • Point person for inquiries from OEM’s including quotes, bids, orders, shipments etc.
  • Analyze and prepare data for contract negotiation process
  • Assist in the alignment of our selected Super Shops to ensure streamline of all quotes, orders, builds, kitting, and deliverables
  • Streamline communication into OEM procurement team to ensure transparency on all requests and issues
  • Work closely & aligned with the Sales Operations Integration Manager (New role)
  • Effectively partners and works across FC and Hydraulic shops and division teams to ensure proper execution of customer needs
  • Leads the short-term and long-term planning necessary to implement specific processes that meet the needs of OEM customers
  • Prepare and participate in Customer meetings & conference Calls (quarterly reviews, proposals, presentations, projects, issue resolution)
  • Create reports/presentations for customers including performance data, customized reporting, cost savings data, and additional requested information
  • Negotiate sale and purchase prices
  • Troubleshoot customer concerns


  • Prefer Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of related experience or an equivalent combination. Industry experience required
  • Ability to work as a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communications, coaching, and team building skills
  • Reliable, organized, and attentive to detail
  • People leadership experience desired
  • Ability to develop rapport, influence others and maintain strong working relationships within targeted OEM’s and internal within Motion Industries
  • OEM experience is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
