Summary

The AP & AR analyst position must be flexible to support both accounts payable and accounts receivable teams. This includes but not limited to processing invoices for approval, cash posting, managing vendor communications and set up (SOC2 compliance), assist in monthly AP/AR closing process. This position is a growth role and will expand as business needs change.  This position reports to the Controller.

Responsibilities - AP 

  • Perform month end closing duties including but not limited to;
    • Confirm and code credit card activity
    • Invoice management to code/assign vendor invoices for timely approval
  • Vendor maintenance (SOC-2 compliant)
  • Corporate card program manager and key contact point
  • Respond to vendor inquiries timely and in a professional manner

Responsibilities – AR

  • Perform month end closing duties relating to invoicing including but not limited to;
    • Compiling aggregate invoicing
    • uploading select invoices to client portals
    • Process manual creative invoices via ERP system
  • Generating and assisting with adjustments, prepays, and issuing client refunds
  • Daily cash posting including client payments and F/X transactions
  • Key point of contact for Versapay – client invoice and payment platform
  • Respond to client email requests timely and in a professional manner

Qualifications

  • Ability and drive to operate, organize, and reprioritize, as necessary, in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Must possess “when no one’s looking” integrity and be an individual with a high level of ethics and character
  • Payables or accounting experience in media environment strongly preferred
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented and able to multitask to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytic, mathematical, and problem-solving skills required 
  • Must possess the aptitude and flexibility to understand the informational requirements of the business as it changes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, especially Excel and pivot tables
  • Must have willingness to learn in order to grow with organization
  • College degree preferred
  • Familiarity with Netsuite a plus
  • Must be a team player
