Product Operations Analyst
Goodleap’s Product Management team is responsible for delivering innovative, best-in-class solutions across various platforms to power world-positive lending. We are looking for a product operations professional with deep analytical skills and product experience in the credit lending space. The Operations Product Analyst will be responsible for executing a metric driven program for all areas of the underwriting process with the goals of an instant, frictionless, secure lending decision. This means gaining expert level knowledge of the configurability and systems used to operate the programs responsible for underwriting so that changes can be made, tested, deployed, and monitored with swiftness and confidence. We will utilize 1st and 3rd party data solutions in our automated underwriting processes. Finally, we are looking for a data minded analyst who can lead attribute and model configuration so that we can use our data assets to better predict outcomes based on information gathered throughout the process.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Strategy: Assist with building a roadmap for the automated underwriting program including the instant and manual risk decisioning, fraud assessment, and borrower data and documentation capture and automated consumption. Also assist with hypothesis framework advanced analytics roadmap. Use data and partnership with the Business Intelligence team to inform this strategy.
Execution: Collaborate with product leadership and business stakeholders to establish the documentation and process for capturing changes to the automated or manual underwriting program policy configurations and see those through to implementation and certification. Setup observability into the changes to look for intended as well as monitor unintended consequences proactively and report back for strategy re-alignment if needed.
Optimization: Use established metrics and knowledge of the industry to find opportunities for improvement supported with data to help drive expected impact. Look for solutions both internally and externally to assess the solution fit, long term growth goals, and cost to combine with impact for a clear prioritization picture. Work with existing vendors to continue to optimize relationships based on Goodleap’s needs.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with and knowledge of consumer lending, credit data, property data, and fraud data
- Deep understanding of credit bureau data and ability to model, build, test, and implement predictive credit attributes
- Expertise in interacting with and testing RESTful JSON APIs
- Ability to apply a working knowledge of Database systems, preferred experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and Elasticsearch/Kibana
- Effective cross organizational skills with proven ability to interface with leadership roles in other organizations
- Ability to explain complex ideas to business users
- Experience interacting with and testing system to system interfaces
- Working knowledge of an AWS based system architecture
- Ability to navigate vendor relationships and manage the process of introductions through RFP and onboarding and throughout the lifecycle to managing billing
- Work well with others and be a team player
- Ability to work overtime on short notice
