GoodData’s Professional Services team works with our customers to build BI solutions using the GoodData platform; build and customize analytical / reporting products to implement into client's internal systems. Our team is obsessed with guiding our customers to achieve value with our products in the shortest time possible. We play a critical role in managing the technical ins and outs of the implementation, as well as helping our customers realize the powerful business uses of our tools.
We are currently looking for a new member of our Professional Services department.
What will you do?
Manage a portfolio of implementation projects delivered by internal or external teams. Ensures the projects are running according to expectations and plan, aligned with internal methodologies. Manage appropriate status reporting and provide reports to management as requested.
Manage scheduling and workload balance for the project delivery teams, ensuring on-time, within budget, and high-quality implementations of GoodData. Assesses available staffing options and resource requirements from implementation teams for client engagements and makes staffing/resourcing recommendations. Participates in the team member's hiring process.
Define, develop and maintain the implementation methodologies and its application by the delivery teams. Works independently and with other departments to implement and maintain best practices in project implementations.
Supports and works in close cooperation with the key individuals in the team to understand the work of the team and individual team members and the challenges they face.
Participate in pre-sales activities, consults project forecasts, resource availability, and work schedules.
Proven experience in custom project delivery management.
Deep understanding of practical project management, capable to set up and adjust processes for effective customs solution delivery.
Experience in managing expectations, comfortable working with a large number of projects/activities
Capable of mentoring and guiding members of the project teams (internal and external team members).
Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, familiar with communication with customers' C-level representatives.
Ability to build strong relationships with all levels of an organization.
Excellent spoken and written English.
