We have an excellent opportunity for Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join our team full-time to be a part of our Urgent Care Boot Camp program designed to provide the urgent care skill sets needed to excel in our urgent care centers.
 
We are looking to start our boot camp in May 2025. Applicants need to have graduated by January 2025 to be considered due to credentialing and licensure timelines.
Boot Camp Details:
  • Program is run over a 3-month period, working full time with hours divided between time in center and didactic time
  • Clinical shifts for the duration of the bootcamp alongside senior preceptors, as well as skills labs for procedural training to provide training and support to work in our centers.
  • Providers in the program will be expected to float through different centers during their clinical shifts
  • Bootcamp Providers are entitled to full time employee benefits during their time in program
  • At completion of the program, providers will be offered continued full-time employment with assignments based on the market needs

Minimum Required Qualifications:  
    • Physician Assistants: Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification is required.
    • Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree and ANCC or AANP Certification is required
    • For Nurse Practitioners, preferred experience working in the Emergency Room as a RN or Urgent Care
    • For Physician Assistants, preferred experience as an EMT/Paramedic or clinical rotations in the Emergency Room or Urgent Care
    • Licensed in the state of Connecticut as a Nurse Practitioner (APRN or FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) required.
