Regional President – New York

The Regional President – New York provides strategic and operational leadership to two or more markets, including the Northwell GoHealth Urgent Care and Nuvance GoHealth Urgent joint venture partnerships. In these two partnerships alone, we operate more than 70 centers, likely growing to more than 80 by the end of the yearResponsibilities will include general management of all operations at the urgent care centers with full P&L ownership and responsibility to ensure the market meets or exceeds its financial, operational, and quality objectives. The Regional President will ensure the delivery of the highest quality patient care across all centers from an operational perspective, deliver on volume and growth targets, and ensure a great customer, patient and team experience. The Regional President will be an effective and highly strategic leader and collaborator, partnering with multiple support departments within the organization and with our joint venture health system partner.

RESPONSIBILITIES  
  • Sets, communicates and realizes strategic business vision for assigned markets, both by drawing on and emulating existing ideas/innovations from other GHUC markets and developing new plans based on singular market opportunities/dynamics. 
  • Provides P&L leadership for assigned regional markets. 
  • Provides active, visible and consistent leadership to a large team of direct and indirect teammates throughout their assigned regional markets, fostering a culture of performance, unity, accountability, fairness and inclusivity. 
  • The Regional President will be a fully participatory member of the board meetings of the joint venture partnerships within their assigned regional markets. 
  • Deliver on all financial, operational, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives/KPIs as mutually defined by the joint venture partnership and GoHealth Urgent Care. 
  • Oversee, manage, and deliver appropriate staffing levels for center operations for all centers, developing, refining, and owning the staffing model and workforce planning for the market. 
  • Oversee and maintain performance improvement processes for GoHealth as established by the health system, the federal government, and other entities. 
  • Ensure market compliance with all federal and state regulations, accreditation organizations, and joint venture/partner requests. 
  • Direct the identification, development, and implementation programs to maintain and enhance operational excellence and deliver quality objectives.  
  • Collaborate with internal and external business partners to maintain all contractual performance obligations. 
  • Establish key performance indicators and provide feedback to market leaders on operational performance and make recommendations on improvements as needed. 
  • Enhance market operations by supporting all cross-market initiatives; provide guidance and best practices to operation managers, ensure timelines are met, and develop and implement  
    cross market processes and procedures.  
  • Build and maintain visibility in the community; identify outreach possibilities and partner with the Marketing team to drive volume and establish a positive community profile for the centers in the market.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS  
  • 10+ years of demonstrably successful progressive strategic operational leadership experience 
  • 7 years’ experience leading operations in a multi-region, multi-site clinical care/healthcare setting 
  • Experience managing a P&L of $100M+ top line revenue 
  • Excellent relationship building skills; Ability to build open, durable and constructive relationships with key stakeholders both within and without the organization 
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, communicate and present financial statements/financial information in a concise and understandable manner to all levels of the organization. 
  • Board experience, including participation in and regularly preparing and delivering presentations, is required. 
  • Entrepreneurial, innovative and highly motivated mindset. Experience working in or contracting with a healthcare system preferred. 
  • Successful track record building, developing, leading, motivating and scaling high performing operations organizations and teams. 
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to groups.  
 
EDUCATION:   
  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Master’s degree preferred 
Salary Range: $270,000 - $290,000 
Bonus: 40% annual discretionary bonus
