JOB SUMMARY

welcoming culture of care and seamless integration with market-leading health systems and our communities. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and documenting GoHealth systems and services. 
The Systems Administrator will collaborate with various departments and vendors to support and maintain existing systems and services. In addition, the Systems Administrator will act as an escalation point for tier 2/3 support, create troubleshooting documentation, and provide technical trainings. The Systems Administrator may also assist with enterprise projects, working with peers and stakeholders to implement new solutions. 
 
The Systems Administrator will be a key player in establishing long term goals related to patient experience, provider throughput and evolving technology. This will be a challenging position working in a fast-paced environment with a focus around agile and rapid deployment. This role requires a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Systems Administrator, with experience supporting cloud and hybrid environments.

Education
 
Associate’s degree or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
 
Work Experience
1 year required. 
3 years preferred.
 
Required Licenses/Certifications
 
Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) preferred
 
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
 
Demonstrated Experience supporting Cloud and Hybrid clients and servers using Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft Intune, and PowerShell. 
Demonstrated Experience supporting Microsoft SaaS products (Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams.) 
Experience supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex systems.
Experience working with industry security benchmarks and best practices.
Experience working with team members and business owners to support and troubleshoot systems and solutions. 
Experience creating technical, operational, and end user documentation. 
Solid networking knowledge including switching, firewalls, WAN and wireless infrastructure.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Superb collaboration, interpersonal, and verbal/written communications skills.
Support experience with Windows Server 2016 and later. 
Support experience with Windows 10 and later.
Support experience with Apple macOS and iOS.
Knowledge of WSUS and WUfB policies for updates and patch management.
 
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred
 
Develop scripts using PowerShell, Python, or other modern scripting languages. 
Experience with Microsoft Certificate Authorities and PKI. 
Familiarity and experience with healthcare regulatory compliance and reporting bodies (HIPAA, JACHO, etc.) 
Thorough knowledge of network, host, and application technologies, particularly in a healthcare environment. 
Knowledge in Mobile Device Management (Intune, Jamf, Mosyle, etc.)
Knowledge in Identity Management Systems (Okta, PingFederate, OneLogin)
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
 
Support, maintain, troubleshoot, and document Company systems, and services. This will include a mixture of administration, cloud, security, and networking. Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability. Maintain Company systems, and services such as domain controllers, session hosts, utility servers, Azure, Microsoft 365, and various other applications, systems, and services. 
 
Troubleshoot technology problems reported by users and/or other departments within the Company. Provide subject matter expertise to help provide solutions to issues reported. Be an escalation point for 2nd and 3rd level support , providing technical guidance and documentation. Provide rotational after-hours and weekend escalation support for issues requiring immediate resolution.
 
Work effectively with cross-functional teams from IT, Enterprise IT Engineering, Cyberdefense, and other business functions, including senior leadership team within and outside of your department and function. Collaborate with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience. Understand business needs and workflow requirements. Track tasks and provide time and completion estimates. Complete tasks on time and within budget. 
 
Participate in system selections for enhancing patient care via new technologies. Manage and maintain vendor relationships to stay up to date on emerging technologies and advancement in existing systems. Develop proposals to optimize existing technologies to support operational requirements and failover capabilities of IT systems in a healthcare setting. Take responsibility for results, including costs, and methods.
 
Adapt to a constantly changing environment; flexibility to work extended hours and weekends if needed, occasional travel required to healthcare facilities, corporate headquarters, and other events. 
 
Follow best practices in security, availability, and recoverability when maintaining and supporting systems and services. Review and revise production systems and services for technical, security, and efficiency improvements. Create and audit backups to ensure high-availability and recovery.
 
Responsible for performing security checks, identifying risks, and remediating system vulnerability, including implementation and monitoring policies and controls to ensure comprehensive (cloud and on-prem) security, legal and regulatory compliance. Work with governance and compliance teams, and both internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulations and security best practices.

Document workflows and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Work collaboratively with peers to enhance system and service efficiency and reduce technical debt.
