GoHealth’s Internal Locums Team for
Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and
Physician Assistants

 

Would you have interest in covering shifts, when needed, in another region(s) for GoHealth Urgent Care?  If so, we have an  internal opportunity for you.  It’s called GoCOVER and it’s GoHealth’s internal locums program.

WHY?

The GoCOVER program has been created as part of our continual efforts to make our business more efficient and effective.  We’d like to identify, in each GoHealth market, a group of highly skilled providers who are willing to travel to other GoHealth markets from time to time to GoCOVER as a per diem provider for planned short term absences in those markets.  Our goal is to allow our health system partners to tap into our national pool of providers who already are highly trained on GoHealth Urgent Care culture and workflows.    

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW?

• Providers must be in good standing, so will be approved by clinical leadership in your market.
• Providers will be paid the same hourly wage as per diems in that market 
• Licensure/DEA will be reimbursed through Coupa prior to starting
• Travel & lodging may be facilitated by the market coordinator and paid by GoHealth through Coupa – We have pre-negotiated rates with hotels in each region. Will try to keep cost at or below those rates if using a VRBO, etc. Easier for you to book your own flight and get reimbursed through Coupa, keeping cost in mind for the flight.
• Note that lodging will be for shifts done in the region including night prior and night of. Any other lodging will be paid by the GoCover provider. (Coordinators will try to schedule blocks of time together as much as possible)
• Providers will be guided through credentialing, licensing & onboarding per normal processes for that region.
• GoCOVERshifts should not take away from your normal shift requirements in your home
• Expenses will be reimbursed through the Travel Policy for NY GoCover only
• $40/day food allowance for all other markets reimbursed through Coupa with receipts.
• Your mileage (or rental, Uber/Lyft) will be covered – You would need to book your own rental car.
