Pega Developer, Associate
Description
Essential Functions:
- Monitors BIX extractors and PDC as part of daily production Monitoring.
- Utilizes Pega tools such as Tracer, Clipboard, and logs to troubleshoot issues.
- Assists in investigating application issues under supervision.
- Performs unit testing for assigned development tasks.
- Resolves low to medium complexity defects during QA and UAT cycles.
- Supports regression testing activities.
- Assists in developing and configuring Pega applications including case types, stages, steps, and flows.
- Configures decision tables, decision trees, validations, and when rules.
- Follows Pega guardrails and organizational standards.
- Participates in sprint ceremonies and team meetings.
- Continuously enhances skills through training and certifications.
- Participates in peer reviews and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Documents configuration changes and technical details.
- Performs other related duties and project as business needs require at direction of management.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Knowledge on object-oriented technology and reusable component-based application development involving Java.
- Knowledge on integrations and agents.
