Air Compressor Tech I (Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm)
Description
- Performs minor installations and preventive maintenance for critical systems equipment, including but not limited to changing belts and oil filters. Ensures equipment operate properly.
- Supports and resolves common/known issues.
- Conducts basic critical systems inspections to ensure conditions adhere to established standards for continuous production.
- Reviews the operation of critical facility equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Installs mechanical systems, including but not limited to dust collection and compressed air.
- Participates in the installation of facility equipment projects from conceptual planning to commission.
- Adheres to best practices processes to increase efficiency.
- Places orders for spare parts and equipment for replacement.
- Sources facility equipment based on company needs.
- Collaborates with appropriate teams to coordinate electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and special systems designs.
- Assists with creating compressed air and vacuum as-built drawings for previous projects, areas and buildings for historical records.
- Assists with creating preventative maintenance documents as directed by management.
- Collaborates with and supports construction and maintenance teams.
- Maintains a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols, and wears protective equipment as required.
- Perform other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one (1) year of industrial equipment maintenance experience.
Pay Range: 20.00-27.00/hr.
