Description

• Performs routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups.
• Installs and repairs accessories such as radios, heaters, mirrors, and windshield wipers.
• Performs standard vehicle repairs such as changing brake pads and rotors, replacing fluids and replacing batteries.
• Maintains records of maintenance and vehicle services.
• Assists other mechanics as needed.
• Cleans and washes company vehicles.
• Uses manual and computerized diagnostic methods to identify potential problems with vehicles.
• Tests parts and systems to ensure they work correctly.
• Repairs and replaces worn, old defective parts.
• Perform emission inspections, safety checks, and similar state-regulated vehicle examination.
• Perform other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.  

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two (2) years of auto mechanic experience specializing in foreign and American cars and trucks required.
• Previous experience with electrical and diesel preferred.

• Automotive Mechanic trade school certificate preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
• Valid Class B Driver’s license with passenger endorsement preferred.
• Ability to comply with DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing requirements.

 Pay Range $20.00-$26.00/hr
