Essential Functions:

  • Leads maintenance staff members in the field to execute maintenance of facility and equipment to ensure facilities needs are met.
  • Leads team in the execution of assignment while ensuring an efficient workflow with minimal impact to the business.
  • Oversees maintenance queue and leads teams in the field to complete request in order of urgency, process, involvement of other teams, approval, and inputting into queue.
  • Tracks, maintains, and updates progress of all preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and maintenance request work orders/projects/tasks, updating internal tracking system, and provides updates to requestors in a timely manner.
  • Provides field oversight and direction to maintenance staff members, contract vendors, property inspection support, and the monitoring all building systems and equipment.
  • Schedules, delegates, and monitors team member’s work to ensure performance meets department and required expectations.
  • Responds to and performs maintenance work request for general facility repairs.
  • Participates and is actively involved in the production improvement process.
  • Routinely surveys and evaluates necessary maintenance to the facilities; observes facility issues for continuity and improvement.
  • Performs regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
  • Provides and responds timely emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance of production equipment during machine service.
  • Detects faulty operations, defective materials and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
  • Creates materials lists, method plans and schedules for small-medium sized projects.
  • Determines root cause analysis techniques and recommends Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) procedures.
  • Some engineering experience including ability to create drawings, diagrams and schematics after analyzing data.
  • Provides coordination, status, updates, and delivery support for any construction and facility tenant improvements.
  • Coaches, mentors, and trains team members; participates in the selection and development plan for maintenance staff members.
  • Motivate employees, assist in goal setting, provide development opportunities and performance feedback, address complaints and resolve.
  • Maintains the highest level of customer service to all departments and personnel.
  • Sorts, files, and maintains necessary records related to maintenance and repair work.
  • Coordinates and communicates with maintenance supervisor and manager daily on status of all work progress.
  • Travels to and inspects work sites, responding to complaints and evaluating status and needs.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED. 
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a construction, maintenance, HVAC, repair, or similar industry.
  • Previous project management experience, a plus.

Pay Range: 30.00-35.00/hr.
