Sr. Accountant
Description
- Enters general ledger entries and other miscellaneous entries.
- Balances and reconciles asset and liability accounts to the general ledger.
- Reconciles bank accounts, reports, and financial data.
- Ensures accurate postings of monthly fixed depreciation for supported entities
- Calculates and records estimated deprecation journal entries for in-service assets in CIP accounts on a periodic basis.
- Compiles financial information and assists in the preparation of reports.
- Prepares profit and loss statements and monthly closing.
- Analyzes balance sheets and profit and loss reports.
- Prepares monthly financial reports for management.
- Reviews payroll entries, invoices and other accounting documents.
- Reconciles and maintains intercompany account records including but not limited to consolidation.
- Calculates and prepares royalty and commission payments.
- Assists and provides support to management and other team members during month end close.
- Analyzes accounting results, investigates variances, and documents findings.
- Identifies efficiencies to streamline processes and procedures.
- Assist with audit preparation.
- Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Minimum seven (7) years of accounting experience.
- Previous experience working with Dynamics 365 F&O, a plus.
Pay Range: $37.00-$45.00/hr
