Production Supervisor - Manufacturing
Description
- Hires, manages, trains, develops, reviews, and set goals for department and staff.
- Collaborates with Production Manager and Human Resources on all personnel issues.
- Provides staffing recommendations to Production Manager to meet production levels.
- Allocates staff appropriately across production departments to meet production goals.
- Establishes daily and weekly priorities with input from Production Manager.
- Leads staff meetings to discuss safety briefings and discussions related to productions status.
- Communicates material requirements to maintain production levels.
- Ensures team members follow safety procedures and established standard operating procedures.
- Ensures inventory procedures are followed to accurately record inventory.
- Improves throughput and production yields utilizing continuous improvement.
- Identifies and eliminates quality issues; coordinates with quality control team to execute.
- Supports process and manufacturing engineering efforts to continuously improve existing processes.
- Serves as a project co-lead for transitioning new products from research and development into production.
- Recommends process documentation updates to engineering and management.
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years of related production manufacturing experience.
- Previous experience with ceramic production products, preferred
- Previous experience with medical products, preferred.
Pay Range: $23.80-$35.00/hr
