Manager, Sr. - Marketing Operations
Description
- Partners with Marketing stakeholders to spearhead the implementation and integration of marketing processes, defining standard operating procedures and team interactions, applicable across various product lines and business entities.
- Prepares, manages, and assesses department budget, ensuring alignment with financial guidelines and objectives. Develops recurring budget reports to inform Marketing stakeholders of budget performance.
- Develops and maintains departmental project calendar and timelines. Regularly informs Marketing stakeholders of project statuses, highlighting milestones, potential roadblocks, and scope changes.
- Oversees production and distribution of all print collateral.
- Assesses, prioritize, and manages scheduling and delivery of all non-revenue generating projects.
- Develops and generates performance tracking metrics and reports for department key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Tracks and reports on process efficiency, effectiveness, and synergy across delivery channels.
- Manages interdepartmental communications to ensure department vision is consistent with company capabilities.
- Oversees the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of print marketing collateral production and associated labor; ensures calculable improvements.
- Partners with Marketing stakeholders to evaluate, implement, and optimize the tools and workflows to maximize Marketing’s speed, quality, and volume of overall productivity.
- Oversees and streamlines print production processes to ensure deliverables remain on schedule and within budget.
- Maintains visibility and feedback of print production and delivery of creative and logistical content.
- Gathers and presents data used to monitor overall departmental productivity and operational efficiency.
- Identifies and addresses potential roadblocks or operational deficiencies prior to any negative impact upon company goals.
- Advise core team on organizational structure and resource allocation in order to maximize quality and quantity of content produced, as well as overall return on investment (ROI).
- Communicates major issues, scope changes, schedule changes, project risks, and decisions that impact successful delivery of campaigns.
- Communicates regularly with project teams, peers, and management to set expectations and remain in alignment with key stakeholders and the broader organization on the status of any initiative.
- Oversees the development of team members so as to increase the overall competency and capabilities of the department and company.
- Hires, manages, develops, reviews, and sets goals for marketing operations team and its individual members.
- Establishes goals for team in accordance with company and division plan and vision.
- Ensures team understands the performance standards of their department and has a clear understanding of their own individual performance.
- Ensures high productivity and adherence to turnaround time schedule by problem solving, motivating, and delegating.
- Handles employee relations matters including but not limited to performance management and enforcement of corrective or disciplinary actions.
- Partners and coordinates with Human Resources in a timely manner on all employee relations matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum eight (8) years in project management, or relevant experience.
- Minimum five (5) years of leadership experience.
Pay range: $100,000.00 to $135,000.00/yr
