The Sales Operations Manager will play a critical role in driving efficiency and effectiveness across Gigamon's global sales organization. This position will manage Order Management Specialists and focus on using a data-driven approach to support the sales team by managing processes, tools, and metrics that enable the team to scale in new markets. Reporting to the Head of Sales Operations, this role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, Demand Planning, and Logistics to deliver actionable insights, improve sales forecasting, and optimize sales operations. The Sales Operations Manager will also help develop and implement sales policies, procedures, and tools that support the company's growth objectives.
What You’ll Do:
  • Manage the Order booking process and resources
  • Support the sales team using SFDC and Clari by driving process improvements, measurement, tracking, and data analytics.
  • Track and analyze key metrics as well as ah-hoc reporting to provide actionable insights.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of tracking the sales funnel and operational metrics, delivering regular insights to leadership.
  • Support the onboarding and training of new Sales Representatives to enhance their performance and productivity.
  • Manage and maintain sales data in SFDC and other related software tools to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
  • Provide statistical models and organize studies to support the sales organization in achieving its goals.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the Sales organization to drive efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and KPIs, as well as prepare Quarterly Business Review and Board presentations.
  • Create and maintain sales policies, procedures, training manuals, and sales-related resources.
What You’ve Done:
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations or a related field, with increasing responsibilities.
  • 2-3+ years of management experience
  • Self-starter capable of thriving in a high-growth, fast-paced enterprise technology environment.
  • Strong analytical thinker with superior problem-solving skills, able to create and interpret analyses from scratch.
  • Extremely detail-oriented, organized, and successful in managing complex projects involving multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to understand high-level sales strategies, translate them into system/process requirements, and drive execution.
  • Advanced proficiency with Salesforce (SFDC), able to build and run reports/dashboards independently.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, with the ability to perform in-depth data analysis.
  • Experience with Clari forecasting is a plus.
  • Adaptable and comfortable handling multiple demands, shifting priorities, and rapid change.
