Gigamon is seeking an energetic and motivated Senior Program Manager to work closely with the R&D team to drive and manage software releases and strategic programs. The ideal candidate will have strong program management skills, preferably in the networking area or other embedded systems devices with scalable fabric solutions. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment. The right candidate will assist the various engineering teams in planning and delivering projects in accordance with the release plans. Will also work closely on product quality and engineering initiatives. Working as part of a growing, dynamic team, the candidate will thrive in a cross-functional environment, leading and achieving project deliverables, and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the product lines. 
What you’ll do:
  • Lead the site release and program activities
  • Coordinate and collaborate with PLM, Development, DevOps, & QA to ensure that all deliverables are met
  • Drive all aspects of the release and work closely with the local dev/test teams to drive to the release/program schedule
  • Lead daily/weekly meetings to address risks, dependencies, and bug scrubs to enable the team to make progress.
  • Work individually with leads to understand the features and the delivery plan.
  • Manage and comply with release schedule and main release milestones throughout programs.
  • Help cross-program planning to oversee dependencies and solve conflicts.
  • Work in an agile work environment and help the teams deliver products on time with high quality.
  • Measure and monitor progress to ensure releases are delivered on time and that they meet or exceed expectations
  • Work with dev teams to understand the impacts of branches and code merges
  • Identify processes for automation and ensure automation is implemented with a focus on efficiency
  • Identify and communicate risks that could affect the release scope, schedule, and quality
  • Proficient in excel, MSFT project and other tools to drive a metrics focused organization
What you’ve done:
  • Minimum of 10 years to 12 years of program management/release management experience
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to work in a high-achieving team or independently.
  • Capable of working under pressure and tight deadlines to solve critical issues
  • Able to work equally well with people in creative as well as technical positions
  • Strong oral and written communicator, with good interpersonal skills; able to forge trusting relationships within a diverse team and across organizations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to support releases for teams across the globe.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office tools to create plans / reports, Confluence and Jira.
  • Demonstrated experience in configuring and implementing Jira for organizational use is a key differentiator.
  • Strong skills in data visualization and dashboard development using Tableau and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and techniques is a valuable added advantage.

The base salary compensation range targeted for this role, based at Gigamon's Santa Clara, CA, Headquarters office, is $164,000 - $205,000, with an opportunity to earn an annual bonus or commission (subject to the terms and conditions of the plan). This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices.
