Sr. Accountant
Description
- Month-end, Quarter-end, and Year-end Closing: Lead and manage closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- General Ledger Accounting and Reconciliation: Manage and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring the integrity of financial data.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure cash balances are accurately reported.
- MS D365 or ERP System Management: Utilize MS D365 or other ERP systems to manage accounting functions, including posting entries, generating reports, and analyzing data.
- Financial Data Review and Analysis: Review, analyze, and interpret financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- International Financial Knowledge: Manage accounting activities for different international regions, staying up-to-date with global financial regulations and tax laws.
- Accounts Receivable: Tracking, recording and reporting of receipts from customers, reconcile accounts and responding to customer questions
- Audit Support: Provide necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency in financial reporting and reconciliation tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related commerce field.
- Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in the IT or ITES industry.
- Strong experience with MS D365 or other ERP systems.
- Strong experience in International accounting.
- Proficient in MS Excel and Microsoft Dynamics 365 or any similar ERP system.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger reconciliation, and data analysis.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and regions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with accounting for multiple international regions.
- Prior experience supporting financial audits.
- Willingness & ability to pick up new stuff and good attitude
