Vice President (APAC) - Australia
Description
- Provide sales leadership and regional vision for business growth;
- Increase sales growth and market penetration while improving operating margins;
- Drive sales programs more fully into multiple channels, including direct enterprise sales, representative, and distribution for multiple lines of business;
- Identify and develop new ways to grow through share gain;
- Develop and elevate his/her sales organization and migrate toward value/solutions relations and competencies;
- Maintain market and competitor intelligence and develop proactive strategies to maintain the Company’s competitiveness;
- Increase the level of partnership with marketing through sales enabling marketing plans;
- Implement and maintain an effective sales management process to provide current and accurate revenue projections, pipeline forecasts, and lead and prospect reports to support business growth; and
- Develop incentive compensation plans that drive the right behaviors and motivate sales associates execute sales strategies;
- Target, visit and close key accounts (both channel and end-customer) to develop new business opportunities;
- Review and analyze monthly sales and marketing policy deployment objectives, and establish countermeasures to remain on plan;
- Prepare presentations for internal and external sales and marketing projects;
- Participate in Networking infrastructure and Enterprise IT industry trade shows to keep abreast of changes and opportunities;
- Develop organization talent that is appropriate and able to be promoted into other areas of the company.
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline required, MBA preferred
- 10+ years previous sales management experience
- 10+ years with proven ability to develop and implement sales strategy and grow revenue
- 10+ years of proven business development and sales experience.
- Self-motivated individual who has demonstrated leadership and the ability to solve problems at multiple levels of complexity
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to appropriately represent Gigamon and effectively interact with external clients and withother disciplines within the Company such as marketing, customer service and accounting.
- Ability to travel across the region.
