Gigamon is actively seeking a seasoned Sr. Sales Engineer to join our team. This position is remote, with a preference for candidates based in Atlanta, Denver, Dallas or Philadelphia.
The Sr. Sales Engineer will provide pre-sales technical guidance to our Service Provider (SP) accounts in the US and Canada markets. 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Regional Sales Director (RSD) to develop and implement a strategic plan to retain and grow the named SP accounts.
  • Offer technical Pre-Sales for Gigamon products and solutions.
  • Conduct technical discovery sessions and design solutions into a persuasive proposal to address customers' needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive technical presentations for customers and partners, and at industry events, showcasing our products and solutions.
  • Design and implement network monitoring architectures in collaboration with SP customers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Lead all activities from planning to deployment to completion of proof of concepts or product/feature evaluations to secure a technical win.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance on technology and competitive trends to clients, partners, and employees, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Manage and nurture technical relationships within franchise SP accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Stay abreast of the changing SP market and architectures, adapting strategies and solutions as necessary.
  • Provide valuable SP market insights to internal groups such as product management and engineering, contributing to developing innovative products and solutions.
  • Document and communicate feature requirements, ensuring they are accurately captured and addressed to meet customer needs.
  • Provide regular updates to SP Leadership on progress, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical area or equivalent work experience.
  • 8-10 years’ experience in a Pre-Sales Engineer role servicing SP customers.
  • Proven record in consultative selling of complex solutions for large networks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Candidate should have a strong understanding of SP network architectures (wireless or wireline).
  • Must be able and willing to travel for internal and customer meetings. Estimated 25-40%.

The base salary compensation range targeted for this role based out of Gigamon’s Santa Clara, CA, Headquarters office is $141,000 - $176,000, with an opportunity to earn an annual bonus or commission (subject to terms and conditions of the plan). This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices.   
  
Employees in this position are eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefit programs, which currently include health insurance, health savings accounts, life, AD&D, disability, 401(k) plan with company matching contributions, paid time off (holidays, vacation, and sick), tuition reimbursement, employee assistance program (EAP), business travel accident insurance, employee discounts, and employee referral program.
