Channel Operations Manager
Description
- Develop strategies and programs to enable channel partners, drive revenue growth, and streamline the partner experience.
- Design and implement policies and objectives for Gigamon’s Partner Program, contributing to the development of program budgets and forecasts.
- Measure, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of global partner activities such as partner recruitment, sales and technical certifications, and ROI on program benefits (e.g., MDF, rebates).
- Manage and enhance program infrastructure, including the partner portal, specializations, and benefits programs.
- Ensure partner compliance with program guidelines, including discounts, MDF, and other benefits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to project manage and operationalize new partner offerings and initiatives.
- Identify and prioritize partner pain points, making it easier for partners to do business with Gigamon.
- Work closely with Channel Managers to understand metrics and success factors in their respective territories.
- Internally oversee and help manage the Gigamon Deal Registration process
- Engage with channel partners seeking guidance around channel operations processes
- End-to-end management of the Gigamon channel partner onboarding process
- Own the operational management of Gigamon channel marketing programs
- Graduate degree or equivalent industry experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in channel sales and channel operations.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels, both orally and in writing.
- Strong understanding of financial and regulatory rules, including rebates, discounts, MDF, and deal registration.
- Excellent analytical skills with sound business judgment.
- Successful track record of implementing cross-functional programs, including the development of business processes and system solutions.
- Experience in project management, particularly within channel or sales operations.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Salesforce PRM.
- A collaborative relationship builder with strong networking skills and a partner-centric focus.
- Highly organized with strong project management experience, able to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel and drive global initiatives.
- Able to work effectively with remote teams and build strong working relationships across the organization.
