We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our Inside Sales team. You will partner with our regional sales and marketing teams to sell an amazing product that helps protect the world’s largest organizations!
What you'll do:
  • You will act as a liaison between customers and our marketing & sales teams and be responsible for driving targeted, outbound prospecting activities into a set of assigned accounts. Think of yourself as a key extension of the Sales team, primarily focusing on identifying, developing, and creating new business opportunities for the Regional Sales Directors in the North American Enterprise space. 
  • You will be responsible for developing leads for marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas, quarter over quarter, year over year. This will require you to tap into your exceptional sales skills as you generate qualified leads primarily through outbound phone and email.
  • To be successful, you will know how to prospect, research, qualify, and transition new leads to our Sales Team. Being highly motivated with an ambitious, can-do attitude will help you identify and develop new business prospects from prospect lists and individual research.
What you've done:
  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years experience in a business/sales development role, preferably in a technology company.
  • Salesforce experience is a big plus.
Who you are:
  • Strong verbal and written communication. 
  • Strong presentation skills. 
  • Ability to articulate potential client challenges and solutions.
  • Cross-functional team player. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. 
The base salary compensation range targeted for this role based out of Gigamon's Santa Clara, CA, Headquarters office is $62,500 to $81,000 with an opportunity to earn an annual bonus or commission (subject to terms and conditions of the plan). This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices.
