We are looking for a Vice President, Enterprise Sales - Americas to provide strategic vision, thought leadership, and robust account management to accelerate our success across the Americas Enterprise. The successful individual will be critical in planning, organizing, leading, and controlling sales growth initiatives, relationship building, and customer satisfaction. They will also actively engage with cross-functional teams to ensure we deliver strong results. 
 
What you'll do:
  • Manage and lead the Americas sales team to success 
  • Create go-to-market plans to meet Gigamon growth and market opportunities 
  • Coach direct reports on strategies to drive sales wins 
  • Attract, recruit, train, and retain exceptional sales talent 
  • Facilitate the working relationships with the direct and indirect sales channels, Regional Leadership Teams, Marketing and Sales Engineering organizations 
  • Accurate reporting on sales activity and forecasting to senior sales management 
  • Recruit, inspire, lead, and drive the performance and activities of the Sales team. 
  • Establish and assign key accounts, quotas and budgets and manage to the plan.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback. Motivate the sales organization to capitalize on the market opportunity for Gigamon. 
  • Partner to expand existing client base to drive broader opportunities and ensure proper alignment and sales resource allocation within new and existing customers
What you've done:
  • Previous experience leading a large enterprise Americas Sales team within a hi-tech organization 
  • Proven experience selling complex, business-critical software solutions and products 
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, mentor, manage, and retain a world-class sales team. Understands the value of developing ‘bench talent’ 
  • Demonstrated ability to function effectively at senior levels within a highly matrixed business environment 
  • Exceptional track record for building major account relationships from the top down

  • Capable of leading from the front and from behind the scenes as situations demand. 
The base salary + commission compensation range targeted for this role is expected to be between $475,000- $550,000 (subject to terms and conditions of the plan). This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices.
