Our clients are individuals who reach us by referral and give us a portion of their capital they wish to invest aggressively. We seek to grow our clients' capital through active research and trading of securities in their separately managed accounts.
Our team of approximately 90 employees is based on the west side of Manhattan in Hudson Yards. We are a firm united by our belief in growth investing for the long term. Each money manager is responsible for his or her own investment decisions. They are aided by analyst colleagues who scour the market for growth opportunities; allocators who help execute investment decisions and assist clients; and traders who connect us to the markets.
Job Summary:
GGHC is seeking a detail-oriented Research Analyst to drive investment insights and support our portfolio strategy. The Analyst will be responsible for providing comprehensive analyses on companies and industries, identifying long and short opportunities, and developing investment ideas independently and with the team. This individual will influence high-level financial strategy and provide portfolio support, identifying secular trends, structural shifts, and emerging risks. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy rigorous analysis, forming independent views, and debating investment theses in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of public companies, including financial modeling and valuation.
- Generate investment ideas and prepare comprehensive stock pitches, reports, and notes.
- Conduct primary research, including channel checks, expert interviews, and management meetings.
- Analyze earnings reports, filings, and industry data, as well as new and innovative sources.
- Maintain real-time awareness of company news and market trends.
- Attend industry conferences, investor events, and company visits.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of experience in stock analysis or a related discipline, including investment banking and equity research.
- Ability to examine complex ideas, present clear evidence-based theses, and engage in nuanced debate.
- A passion for fundamental equity research and market dynamics.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with knowledge of financial modeling and stock analysis.
- Ability to deliver results both independently and as a collaborative team player.
- Possesses articulate written and verbal communication skills, complemented by a meticulous approach to organization and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency with AI tools.
Range: $85,000-$110,000
