Who You Are:
You are analytically minded individual who has strong project management skills and experience in performance-based marketing. You understand how paid search, paid social and programmatic works, but have hands on experience in affiliate marketing. You are comfortable in situations where you are encouraged to use your initiative and coordinate multiple projects through to completion under given budgets and time constraints. You are a strong team player with excellent organisation skills and have proven experience when it comes to consistently meeting deadlines. Building a rapport with new partners is something you enjoy, and you are comfortable in leading conversations regarding commercial opportunities. You are someone who loves to make calls, is a real “hunter, seeker”, and encompasses a sales/business development gene. You are eager to learn more from a multi-channel team and utilize skills to coordinate projects across teams, departments, channels and partners.
Your Next Challenge:
As an affiliate and partnerships specialist you will work with the Global Manager in executing the affiliate and partnership strategy for iStock and Getty Images across a number of countries. You will proactively assist in growing and managing the affiliate and partner database, using your research and communication skills to engage with and recruit relevant affiliates and strive to negotiate the best deals. You will take a business development approach in your outreach new partners, fighting through rejection and seeking to close new partner deals. You’ll be working in a fast paced and varied environment, engaging with multiple affiliates and third parties, including the management of some of iStock’s largest partners. You will be skilled at project management and will build out proficient documentation to log all project planning, development, execution and analysis. You will be working across multiple projects, partners, teams and third parties, and so are comfortable under pressure. Analysis will be a key part of your daily role, offering insight to senior leaders and keeping an eye on the competitors by monitoring their strategies to ensure iStock and Getty remain competitive. You’ll be a good communicator and will be well versed at providing feedback to management on where improvements can be made. You will liaise with and manage the affiliate agency to conduct regular audits of the affiliate platform e.g. banners, text links, offers and ensure tools are regularly updated and optimised. You’ll use data to plan the best approach in each market on a monthly basis and work collaboratively with the manager to implement those plans.
What You’ll Need:
• 1+3 years of experience directly related to management of partnership programs for an e-commerce company with some experience in business development or sales
• Proven experience in project management
• Experience in negotiating budgets and campaign planning across multiple partners
• Experience in developing and maintaining multiple comprehensive project plans
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft products; Excel, PowerPoint
• Strong grasp of analytical, reporting/excel skills including Pivot table work
• Good communication and writing skills, proficient in written and spoken English
• High attention to detail
• Strong people skills
• Ability to support management across multiple accounts, priorities and targets in multiple markets and languages
• Ability to use web analytics tools e.g. Google Analytics a plus
• Photoshop skills are a plus
• Wordpress skills are a plus
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and support collaboration across channels/departments
