Who You Are:

Getty Images is looking for an insightful, proactive, and detail-oriented Human Resources Manager to partner with leadership in our Calgary office to design and deliver solutions to support business goals. This role will support the global Human Resources team by uncovering insights and trends from data to drive actionable results, and by tailoring global or regional programs to best suit the local Calgary team. This role will support our goal to make Getty Images one of the best places to work globally by providing local expertise and insight to our Canada office, providing guidance to both employees and managers.

Your Next Challenge:

  • Develop strong partnerships with management and employees across the Calgary office to ensure that Human Resources strategies and programs are aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Partner with Calgary groups in defining needs and objectives in areas such as staffing, retention, performance management, training and organizational development, and employee relations. Become the go-to advisor for all HR matters in the office.
  • Recruitment for Calgary roles, working closely with hiring managers and in-house recruiters to strategize sourcing, selection, and successful closure of candidates. Identify local events and opportunities to build upon our employer brand and develop a pipeline of talent. Develop and share insights on local market trends and risks.
  • Take a leadership role in local office, proactively recommending practice changes and innovative approaches to address management objectives and morale. Maintain awareness of employee sentiment and actively participate in office events, including D&I, leadership, and morale committees.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Canadian and provincial employment law. Partner closely with Payroll and Benefits to ensure Calgary’s programs are structured and executed properly.
  • Timely and accurate input to Workday HRIS of employee data. Report metrics and analyze key trends in the group, and propose well-thought-out solutions where actionable.
  • Proactively inform and update HR Director of issues, events, opportunities, and trends in the Calgary office and marketplace.

What You’ll Need:

  • Strong understanding of the Getty Images business
  • 5+ years’ relevant HR experience, ideally gained in fast-paced creative or technology environments
  • Proven experience solving business problems through HR-based solutions. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a global team.
  • Excellent communication, presence, and strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and desire to take on additional responsibility, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and multi-task.
  • Experience with Workday HRIS a plus.
  • BS/BA in HR Management or related field, or equivalent combined education and experience.
  • CPHR certification preferred.
