Marketing Manager - EMEA 6-month Fixed Term Contract

Who You Are:
We’re looking for a London based commercially-focused marketer with strong B2B experience, preferably in the creative industries, to support sales of Getty Images’ best-in-class photography, video, music and data services. The role’s primary focus is on the European Broadcast & Production sector, with secondary support given to our Media sector.

At its core, this role directly supports our sales teams based across Europe, managing local market intelligence-gathering and analysis, the planning and execution of local events, the creation or localization of impactful sales tools, and helping to identify and qualify sources of sales leads.

The position is part of the wider EMEA Marketing team, reporting to the EMEA Senior Marketing Manager (also London based). You will help support three Sales Directors and Managers (based in Ireland, Oslo and London).

You’ll be a natural team player with excellent communication skills, used to working in complete partnership with sales teams to understand their challenges, advise on effective marketing solutions and execute on these solutions to support them in achieving ambitious growth targets.

From a tactical side, you’ll have a proven track record in planning and managing events and partnerships that create cut through in a cluttered marketplace and which generate high-value leads for our sales team with measurable ROI.

You’ll also have good experience in producing effective marketing materials – turning sales feedback and customer insight into tightly-written briefs for our in-house designers that are the foundation of persuasive customer communications and sales tools.

Finally, you’ll be comfortable with demand generation, researching and sourcing leads from third parties to build out segment knowledge and provide our sales team with marketing-qualified opportunities to build their pipelines.

Your Next Challenge:
This position is responsible for the local marketing activities required to support our business objectives for the TV/Film Production and Media segments in the European region. The role entails successfully aligning with both local Sales and Central Marketing teams and has three core areas of required expertise:
• Management of local events & partnerships including both hosted and third-party events.
• Execution of local demand generation programmes using a combination of industry partnerships, desk research and content marketing.
• Creation and distribution of localised sales collateral by working with in-house designer to plan, develop and deliver visually-impactful localised sales tools (both print and digital), ensuring effective distribution to Sales stakeholders and monitoring their usage.

In addition, you will support the marketing team with other daily tasks as required including ROI tracking, budget management, occasional email marketing and reporting.

This position reports to the Senior Marketing Manager, EMEA (a specialist in our Media segment) and is within the broader EMEA Regional Team managed from London by the Senior Director of Marketing, EMEA.

What You’ll Need:
Revenue: help meet the overall Getty Images revenue objectives for the region through effective marketing planning and tactical execution.
Marketing Planning & Sales Alignment: help execute the yearly Broadcast/Production and Media segment marketing plans in collaboration with Sales, based on agreed sales and business priorities.

Budget Management:
collaborate with the Senior Marketing Manager, UKI, to develop and administer the regional marketing budget.

Lead Generation Execution & Analysis:
in collaboration with the central Demand Generation team, plan, execute, analyse and optimise all lead generation programmes aligned with sales and segment vertical growth priorities.

Localisation of Central Campaigns:
collaborate with central marketing teams to oversee localisation and execution of central campaigns and communication strategies.

Marketing Measurement:
utilise performance dashboards to provide accurate measurement of activities and ROI - for the purposes of reporting and driving optimal local marketing channel mix.

Relationship Management:
Liaise with other Regional Marketing teams to share best practices and with other global Marketing functions to establish an ongoing collaboration and communication flow.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Minimum of 5 years relevant management experience in business-to-business marketing.
- Must have demonstrable experience in driving longer term strategies and being able to think strategically – yet be comfortable operating and executing at the tactical level too.
- Significant experience of partnering/aligning with sales functions towards revenue objectives.
- Experience of working with CRM and marketing automation systems. Knowledge of Salesforce and Eloqua would be advantageous.
- Project management ability to work with campaign schedules, deadlines, briefs and budget.
- Previous experience and knowledge of the UKI creative industries would be preferred, and experience within either the TV/Broadcast or Media sectors would be a strong advantage, although not essential.
- Good eye for detail required for proofing and KPI reporting.
- This is a Sales Marketing role, and although knowledge and experience of paid search, SEO, affliate marketing and social media marketing would be useful it is not required, as this is handled by other specialist teams.

Education and Certifications:
- CIM or IDM marketing qualifications (or equivalents) are preferred.
