What will you do in this role? 

  • Stage and manage tickets at stations in order to meet lead times 
  • Set daily/weekly/monthly goals for team 
  • Ability to multi-task 
  • Communicate with sales through email, sales inquiries, and production requests
  • Train and develop employees in the department 
  • Review productivity/efficiency/errors and provide coaching and feedback 
  • Hold bi-weekly/monthly meetings 
  • Conduct daily pre-shift meetings/huddles 
  • Provide daily and weekly summaries of department issues/status
  • Conduct daily audits to ensure accuracy 
  • Assist team in achieving goals 
  • Enforce housekeeping standards
  • Follow all safety and PPE requirements

What you will need to bring to this role....
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to read work tickets, emails, memos, packing slips, etc. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Basic computer skills 
  • The ability to work with and lead a team, respectfully and positively 
  • Good planning and organizational skills 
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality
