Customer Service Coordinator

Looking for a new home for your administrative and customer service skills? Do you have previous experience in industrial distribution or a manufacturing environment? GCG is hiring a Customer Service Coordinator for our Leominster, MA location. In this role, you will provide administrative support for the Customer Service department of our wire and assembly operations. You will manage sales orders, perform data entry, update reports, and assist our sales team and customers over the phone as required.

What You’ll Do

  • Enter customer sales orders
  • Expedite customer sales orders with Production Control
  • Acknowledgment dates to be changed in Oracle Order Management (daily)
  • Compare Sales Order-Open Order Report with Production Schedule (3 weeks out).
  • Mark up report and submit to CS reps for review (monthly).
  • File and organize customer sales orders (daily)
  • Provide telephone back-up for Customer Service Representatives
  • Provide assistance for special projects as required    
  • Complete all corporate training requirements
  • Comply with ISO-9001 quality standard
  • Set and track personal & business goals

What You’ll Bring

  • High school diploma
  • Demonstrated experience with MS-Office (MS-EXCEL, MS –Word) and Windows-95
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communications
  • Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing customer service environment
