The Director of Talent Acquisition and Development will lead the implementation of the vision for talent acquisition and talent development to achieve identified objectives and underlying strategies, including sourcing, early talent pipeline development, diversity initiatives, leadership development, onboarding and talent networking.  This person will build and communicate the talent brand for the company.  In addition, this person will work closely with the functional leaders in analyzing their talent needs, including competencies and capabilities needed to execute their strategies.



Talent Acquisition:


  • Plan, design, develop and oversee the implementation of corporate recruitment, employment, and policies and procedures utilizing lean principles and tools
  • Analyze and evaluate sourcing and recruiting performance data on a monthly basis and communicate accordingly to internal business partners (role requirements aging, hiring rate, cost per hire, candidate quality, etc. )
  • Support diversity initiatives in developing a pipeline of diversity candidates
  • Pioneer, develop, and leverage relationships with universities and niche/diversity conferences
  • Actively manage relationships with supplemental vendors (i. e. : LinkedIn, Indeed, external recruiters, and agencies where applicable)
  • Manage a team of recruiters and at times lead recruiting efforts for executive level roles



Performance Management:

  • Collaboratively develop, implement, and manage Performance Management initiatives
  • Provide consultation and oversight on all talent processes, such as succession management, talent assessment, selection processes, training and development, career management, performance management
  • Manage performance, succession and talent planning processes to efficiently and effectively integrate talent management as a business process led by business leaders and supported by HR
  • Talent Review & Planning: Directly support and facilitate executive Talent Review process to manage the development of high potentials and key talent pools
  • Partner with senior leadership to provide support for High Potential (HiPo) talent development

Learning & Development:

  • Support VPHR in executing leadership development programs
  • Design learning and development programs to ensure development of key talent pools, focusing on Commercial team
  • Ensure that the programs and training materials developed are instructionally sound and that the concepts and materials are consistent and interconnected across all programs
  • Ensure alignment of all training and development solutions to the needs of the business
  • Select, manage, develop and evaluate training vendors and consultants to ensure the efficient operation of the function
  • Manage company LMS



Work Experience:

  • 10 years’ experience in years of Organizational Development (OD), talent management, and leadership development experience;
  • Experience in building/expanding OD and talent management capabilities in mid to large organizations;
  • Significant breadth of knowledge on commonly used training concepts, interventions, practices, and procedures;
  • At least 3 years’ experience in leading Talent Acquisition teams in a corporate search environment;  
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organization Development, Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience required
  • MBA or MS in Human Resources Management preferred
