Position Summary

As the Digital Marketing Content Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the curation, management, and distribution of valuable promotional content including company graphic / video content, blog series, and whitepapers to be leveraged across all business segments of Genuine Cable Group (GCG).  You will work in conjunction with segment Marketing Managers to identify potential content sources, develop and refine that content, and broadcast it across multiple digital channels including email and social media to support sales efforts and enhance GCG brand and web presence.

*This is a hybrid role that would sit onsite for part of the work week in one of our facilities in the Greater Atlanta, Pittsburgh, or Chicago areas however, we are open to fully remote for candidates with exemplary experience and the proven ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and execute a plan for continual content creation and delivery across multiple platforms and channels including but not limited to GCG websites, social media platforms, and email. 
  • Monitor vendor websites and resource libraries to identify and create new content promoting GCG business divisions and the suppliers that the company has formed strong partnerships with.
  • Work with segment Marketing Managers to ensure that content aligns with company vision, brand awareness strategy, and overall communications plans; coordinate social media content distribution in congruence with those plans.
  • Collaborate with the GCG graphics team (Marketing Manager, SEO specialists, etc) to schedule promotional photo & video production.
  • Verify that all content presents GCG and its divisions and vendors in an exciting, engaging, and professional manner prior to publication.
  • Review results and adjust plan and content accordingly for maximum impact

Education + Experience + Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred.
  • 3+ years of professional experience managing and maintaining social media and digital content in a business-to-business sales environment.
  • Proven knowledge of digital marketing channels and the demonstrated ability to maximize performance of marketing through e-commerce, e-mail, social media, and other digital tools.
  • Previous experience working with Hubspot or other marketing automation tools strongly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet frequently changing deadlines
  • Excellent scheduling and time-management skills
  • Keen attention to detail and an eye for aesthetically pleasing content
