Job Description

The Director of Sales will be responsible for managing a highly trained inside sales team including inside managers for our current customer base. The Director of Sales will lead a team of sales experts keenly focused on growing and supporting accounts and business opportunities nationally. Working with our Sales Leadership, the Director of Sales will lead the sales management process, and lead best practices across the inside sales organization that align to company objectives.

Working location is flexible, but must be near one of our current GCG facilities.


  • Provide day-to-day management including mentoring, coaching, skills development, tools utilization (CRM), bonus plans, and performance management
  • Help create, develop and close related sales opportunities
  • Lead and drive team to achieve National revenue goals
  • Work collaboratively with existing inside team and Sales Leadership to support customers’ needs
  • Deliver prepared sales presentations, utilizing support material describing products or services, to help existing and potential customers
  • Explain and demonstrate GCG capabilities, services or products, and answer questions from customers or prospects
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with manufacturer partners
  • Own and manage forecast for inside sales team
  • Manage time effectively to achieve specific objectives daily, weekly and monthly
  • Train inside sales people on infrastructure products and services, cross sell and upsell opportunities
  • Responsible for driving adoption around Technology updates/refreshes
  • Using tools, develop sales metrics to assess productivity and determine areas for future growth 


  • Bachelors degree
  • 3-5 years’ experience managing inside sales teams
  • Highly energetic and results driven individual
  • Some Travel Required
  • Proven track record of people development and sales results
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Results driven with excellent time management, organizational and overall execution skills
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM
