Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Adobe Workfront Consultant to design, configure and optimize enterprise Workfront solutions that improve work intake, project delivery, collaboration and operational visibility. The consultant will combine hands-on platform configuration with client-facing discovery, workshop facilitation and governance responsibilities.
Operating across L03-L04 expectations, this role will independently deliver complete Workfront features and workstreams, support less-experienced consultants, and lead straightforward client discussions. At the upper end of the level range, the consultant will act as a go-to platform specialist, guide configuration decisions and align delivery with client business goals.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience implementing, administering or consulting on Adobe Workfront in enterprise environments.
- Strong configuration experience across custom forms, calculated fields, project templates, request queues, approval processes, proofing workflows, reports and dashboards.
- Working knowledge of Workfront objects, including projects, tasks, issues, portfolios and programes.
- Experience with user administration, groups, teams, job roles, access levels, sharing rules and layout templates.
- Ability to lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, demonstrations and UAT walkthroughs with client stakeholders.
- Ability to translate business processes into scalable, maintainable and well-governed Workfront configurations.
- Strong documentation, stakeholder communication, problem-solving and delivery ownership.
Good to Have
- Adobe Workfront certification.
- Workfront Fusion experience, including basic to intermediate automation scenarios.
- Advanced reporting experience, including text mode and Canvas Dashboards.
- Experience with Workfront APIs or enterprise integrations.
- Experience supporting change management, training and user adoption.
- Exposure to Agile delivery and enterprise governance models.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Configuration & Solution Delivery
- Configure and maintain projects, tasks, issues, portfolios, programmes, request queues and routing rules.
- Design reusable project templates, custom forms, calculated fields and standardised workflows.
- Configure review and proofing processes, including proof roles, routing stages and stakeholder participation.
- Design approval processes that reflect business controls, decision points and escalation paths.
- Troubleshoot common platform issues, assess root causes and implement sustainable configuration solutions.
- Validate configurations in sandbox and UAT environments against agreed requirements and acceptance criteria.
User Management & Configuration Governance
- Administer users, groups, teams, job roles, access levels, sharing rules and layout templates.
- Apply security, permission and access principles consistently across the platform.
- Define and maintain configuration standards, naming conventions, reusable patterns and change controls.
- Review forms, templates, reports and workflows for duplication, maintainability and alignment with governance standards.
- Maintain configuration documentation, decision logs and release records.
Reporting & Insights
- Build and maintain operational reports, dashboards and stakeholder views.
- Translate reporting requirements into appropriate fields, filters, groupings, prompts and visualisations.
- Support visibility into work intake, delivery status, approvals, proofing and project health.
- Improve reporting quality by promoting consistent data capture and field usage.
Client Workshops & Stakeholder Engagement
- Plan and facilitate discovery workshops, requirements sessions and solution walkthroughs.
- Explain configuration options, design decisions, dependencies, risks and trade-offs in clear language.
- Lead demonstrations, UAT sessions and routine technical discussions with client stakeholders.
- Convert workshop outcomes into configuration requirements, actions and documented decisions.
- Build trusted relationships with business, functional and technical stakeholders.
Quality, Testing & Documentation
- Produce clear solution, configuration and administration documentation.
- Define and execute configuration test cases and support defect triage through UAT.
- Perform peer reviews and governance checks before configuration promotion.
- Identify delivery risks early, communicate blockers and support timely resolution.
- Contribute reusable assets, standards and lessons learned to the Workfront practice.

- Operate as a dependable project team member and help less-experienced consultants through guidance and reviews.
- At L04 scope, act as a go-to technical leader for routine platform topics and coach the team on configuration and client skills.
- Balance immediate delivery needs with scalability, maintainability, user adoption and governance.
- Provide technical input to scoping, estimation and proposals where required.
