How You Can Make An Impact

As a Windows System Engineer on our team, you will design, implement, and maintain our global Windows infrastructure. The ideal candidate has superior communication skills, a desire to solve problems quickly in a fast-paced environment, and experience taking projects to completion in an organized manner. 

  • Operate and administer Windows servers and management tools on-premise and in the cloud
  • Produce and implement enterprise-level designs for Active Directory and Windows File Services for global initiatives
  • Collaborate in the building of processes, procedures, and documentation requirements for infrastructure deployments and operational support. Activities include defining server build and decommission procedures, documenting server build standards, and drafting infrastructure and application architecture diagrams
  • Be the point of contact (POC) and subject matter expert (SME) for all Microsoft Products and services across the organization
  • Identify opportunities to innovate, extend, and enhance service delivery
  • Own Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management for any issues that arise in the environment, ensuring minimal reoccurrence of issues
  • Serve as the first line of escalation support for domain technology issues that cannot be resolved by Level I and II support
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes
  • Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs
  • Install, configure, and maintain Active Directory and third-party software utilities for hardware systems within company operational guidelines
  • Improve existing processes through solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation
  • Provide training and mentorship as required

What You'll Need 
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field of study
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in Windows Administration
  • Financial services experience preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated expertise in the following areas:
    • Win10, Server 2012-2019 Administration and troubleshooting
    • Expert level understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy
    • PowerShell 
    • Datacenter operations, server hardware, DCIM
    • Ticketing systems (JIRA) and wiki tools (Confluence)
  • Able to lift up to 65 pounds and travel to local data centers when needed
