Essential Responsibilities & Duties 
 
Join the firm as a Water Resources Engineer as part of our hydraulics and hydrology team.  Essential Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Conduct hydrologic, hydraulic analyses to solve complex water resources problems over a wide range of applications.
  • Develop numerical models for hydrologic, hydraulic, and reservoir operations studies.
  • Perform hydraulic design of culverts, pumps, open channels, and other hydraulic structures.
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal and external clients.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and memoranda and present technical information to peers and clients.
  • Prepare proposals and participate in business development efforts.
Eligible to telecommute up to 2 days/week from home office within normal commuting distance from the main office in Rancho Cordova, CA. 
 
Minimum Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field
  • 3 years of civil engineering experience working with HEC models such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, or HEC-ResSim.
  • Must be willing and have the ability to travel locally on a weekly basis to construction project sites.
