We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Supervisor for Pavement Management Services to support the Manager of Pavement Management Services in the successful execution and delivery of our projects. You will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise, coordinating activities, and ensuring the smooth implementation of pavement management initiatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for contributing to business development efforts to expand our client base and promote our services. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and strong communication abilities will contribute to our team's success.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties
- Assist the Manager of Pavement Management Services in conducting pavement assessments, data collection, and analysis.
- Utilize pavement management software and tools to process and interpret data accurately.
- Collaborate with the team to evaluate pavement condition, identify deficiencies, and recommend appropriate maintenance and rehabilitation strategies.
- Support the Manager in coordinating and monitoring pavement management projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Assist in organizing and scheduling field inspections, data collection activities, and maintenance or rehabilitation projects.
- Maintain project documentation, including records, reports, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities to expand our client base and promote our pavement management services.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, attending industry events and networking opportunities.
- Collaborate with the business development team to prepare proposals, presentations, and project bids.
- Assist in conducting market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth.
- Assist in building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, responding to their inquiries, and addressing their concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with clients to gather project requirements, coordinate site visits, and provide progress updates.
- Ensure clear and effective communication with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
- Assist in conducting quality control inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies during project implementation, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Stay updated on industry advancements, best practices, and emerging technologies related to pavement management services.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in the provision of pavement assessment and pavement management services.
- Strong understanding of pavement assessment techniques, data collection methods, and analysis.
- Proficiency in using pavement management software, GIS tools, and data analysis software.
- Excellent organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Excellent analytical, time management, and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work flexible hours to meet schedule and project deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required, including both regional and national travel. This may involve occasional overnight stays.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
