The Government Transformation Strategy aspires to have the most digitally-skilled civil servants in the world. The GDS Academy is a central pillar to achieving that aspiration.

The GDS Academy

With technologies constantly improving and increasing demand for public services to be delivered online, the GDS Academy was set up to increase the internal capability and skills of the public sector.

We train people on topics, behaviours, tools, techniques and technologies across the digital, data and technology environment.

Excellent interpersonal skills are required with responsibility for handling any conflicts and creating a positive working environment.

The role will be based in Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester or London providing support to all Academy locations.
