The Position
Provide exceptional customer service to patrons while safely parking, retrieving and driving all makes and models of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent as the first point of contact with guests; greet and acknowledge patrons using exceptional customer service and guest names; promote and respond to questions regarding events and services.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, positive demeanor and service etiquette at all times.
- Offer valet services to arriving vehicles, explain terms of use and service to patrons, distribute valet claim ticket, assist with unloading/loading items including wheelchairs and walkers in a safe manner.
- Accurately and neatly record Make, Model, Colour, licence plate and vehicle location on Valet Parking Tag.
- Consistently and safely drive, park and retrieve all makes and models of vehicles, trucks and vans with Automatic and Manual transmissions; park in all.
- Park and retrieve vehicles within all styles of spaces including herringbone angled parking stalls, charging station areas, staging rows.
- Operate within vehicles with respect to minimal adjustments of contents and items in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Deliver vehicles to departing patrons as soon as they are requested; provide a hospitable message and invitation to return.
- Support the Communications Attendant position responsibilities when required; work with the CVPS Parking system operation.
- Report incidents or damage to Management immediately; assist Security with information relating to accidents or damages.
- Ensures all work areas are clean, orderly and free of Health and Safety hazards taking care to not create a workplace hazard.
- Comply with all Casino Rama Policies and procedures and Valet Standard Operating Procedures
- Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.
- Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
- Adhere to departmental quality standards.
- Perform other related and compatible duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- Must hold a valid Ontario Class G driver’s license and be able to drive a manual transmission.
- Must provide a clean criminal history certificate and a clean driver’s abstract on an annual basis
- Must have ten (10) years driving experience
- Ontario Grade 12 or equivalent recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Education
- Previous customer service experience
- SmartServe
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
